lovely locks-baby girl's first haircut

Exhibit A:
November 10th 2006 - A super duper cute baby is born, dawning a beautiful head of dark hair. Just like her daddy.

Exhibit B:
June 5th 2010-A super duper cute kid has grown that dark hair into lovely golden brown locks.

With a little bit of curls. (When she was one- we were asked if we curled it.)

Exhibit C:
June 5th 2010- We bundle that beautiful hair down at the crimp and curl....

marking this day as her first haircut
(although moma did take a snippet way back when she was just a wee one. )

usually this little girl has quite a lot to say, but today she was quiet.

Earlier we discussed her options, and where her hair would go...she just requested that it be a princess haircut. So we decided lunch on the town and picking out new hair clippies (princess ones of course) would suffice.

We warned her stylist that although her hair did not look thick, it in fact was...like duck...you can try to get it all wet...but it is hard to get all the fluff underneath.

Exhibit D:
Bangs! Notice how her hair still naturally parts.
Still quiet. She was a little nervous when the scissors where close to her face...and she often was turning her head in the wrong direction, but overall she was the perfect subject.

Exhibit E:
Finished!

Exhibit F:
Standing with her lovely locks.

One happy girl, ready to send off her lovely locks to help make a wig for a deserving kid.

She loves her new do...she has been letting EVERYONE know that she received a haircut. Daddy is happy he will spend less time styling and washing hair. Moma will miss all the styling and up-dos.

Love the new cut! I can't believe it was so dark when she was born and it is now so blonde. She is still super, duper cute!!

Wow! She looks even MORE like you now (Tara)! She's a mini-you! Too cute. So sweet she is donating it. Not sure if I could get Rosen to do it. Might help her to learn humility tho! (she's pretty vain about her hair)
