Special Cookies and Wishes for Daddy

She put her own apron on...tied* it and everything!

Getting Ready to make Special Peanut Butter Cookies

On our way out to pick daddy some yellow flowers!

So Pekay and Mom.ma thought they would do a special post for daddy. So the day began with getting dolled up for outside- so we could pick all the pretty flowers daddy would so love to get rid of... we weeded.
Then after her bath- Pekay helped Mom.ma make daddy's favorite cookies. Pekay thought they needed something extra - so she added a dribble of spit. I am sure daddy won't mind, he did eat his chocolate ...the one that Pekay took off the counter and was chewing on...then stuck the whole thing in her mouth and then put it back on the counter because Mom.ma said it was daddy's.

I think Daddy will think these are his favorite for sure!

Then we made daddy a card...just to tell him we love him and that we hope he is having a good day. He is working on bringing home the bacon you know.

Happy Birthday Daddy- Josh!

WE LUB YOU more than moonies!!!!

Easter Blessings

a true story brought to you by Peanut.
The scene: daddy was trying to get the camera set up- so we could use the timer. The family was patiently waiting to have their mugs recorded for future sentimental enjoyment...including miss chick-p. Then for our enjoyment and now yours- Pekay stated the following:

"Push the button"
"Josh push the button"
"Broken?"
"Fix it?"
"Here I show you"

easter sunday: take two

kisses on cheeks and a updated blog

This last weekend, we gathered up Pekay's new luxurious air mattress princess sleeping bag(she LOVED it...but we spent most nights putting her back into her bed because she rolled off the air mattress)...oh yeah and an aunt and a new uncle too...and traveled over the river and through the woods to grandma and grandpa's house in beautiful Victor Montana (t's grandparents). Pekay received homemade jams, homemade cookies, pickled beets, yummy tuna casserole, a super lovely green wool sweater and a kiss on the cheek (thanks grandma!). We also had some yummy bread and apple pie via the great aunt (t's aunt, uncle and cousin were also there).

pointing to the cows... (From Dad: I think we spent 45 minutes over the course of the weekend standing at the barb wire fence calling cows like there were kitties "Here cows, Here Cows".)
Pekay loved visiting the cows, horses, and fish in the creek.
For your information: According to Pekay- tractors need money to move.
Tara's uncle was walking around with her, and when they came to the barn, Pekay wanted to ride the tractor. She told Uncle Huey that they needed money so the ride would go.

Kung Fu Pekay

Daddy will complete this post. This is not the original incident...just wanted to capture her little voice. Unlike the first time, she is sitting in this video.

From Dad:
The other night I put my hands together and bowed to Pekay, I don't remember what I said but she immediately returned the bow and said, "Good Morning Master". It was crystal clear and pretty cute, that kid loves her Kung Fu Panda!

homage to the auntie who has nanners

So the other morning Pekay informed her daddy with a statement similar to this clip:

In case you missed what she said: "freezing nanners off"
Things that I would like you to know or will probably be helpful to you:
This saying is owned(more than likely) and frequently used by a certain auntie who loves Cheetos and is known to be able to talk like ET.
I guess I have used it a couple times...or a lot...and so the story goes P is a little sponge-I had better watch out what I say and do!!!

it's nice to see you again.

Welcome back snow!!! Not too many people are excited about you...oh well. No complaints here.
