Happy 30 Years of Living! ~A tribute to Him we call Daddy and Jman~

there might be a little of this ^

and some of this^

and because Daddy is hard worker...he will be doing a little of this. Of course P will want to spend some time with him and help.

We enjoyed Breakfast out...together...

tokens of our love will be given and calls have been coming in...because we love him.

J-I am very thankful and blessed to have known you half your life- I am looking forward to many more old man birthdays;) ! Thank you for all you are and all you do...I am so very proud. I love you Jman.... a ton...a lot...forever!

Daddy- I adore you and today (like many times we go out and eat) I loved to sitting next to you at breakfast. I most certainly love spending time with you outside. It takes me a bit every evening to calm my excitement of you being home. I am your shadow. And always remember how much I love it when you come find me (hidden of course) at bedtime -armed with water, kisses and hugs (and it is a must that it always happens after moma has said her goodnights). I love you and Happy Birthday!
P.S. thank you for always using your manners, good job!

God is in the House!

22.sept.2009
26.Dec.2009
So today is Tuesday and already I am feeling the pressures of a busy week. With the busy-ness comes an great deal of guilt and an unfinished Bible Study. In other words, not very much time with God. Well, today I have been trying to stick to my to do list, in the hopes of scheduling in God and making Him a priority. Among the to dos, was weeding some sneaky flowering pests. Now most of you must know that any kid, especially P loves the idea of an outdoor adventure and I foresaw no change of plans in this wifey do chore. However I smile and am in awe once again in this amazing God of ours! I grab my stuff, send a few notes of importance to the Mr. via text , and then walk past P lounging on the couch among all today's special things.

M: "You ready to go outside!?!!!"
P:"Just a minute, I am talking to God." (continues to chat away)

Wow, chills. Smile and a little teary. What can I not learn from this situation? Thanks God, for reminding me today...through your 3 year old child...that even something as fun as an outdoor trip....can wait...and you are right here, right now...always here...at my side...talking(chillin as p would say) with P on the couch...thank you for this today... thank you for shinning through this little girl...thank you.
Well, after a bit- I told P that God could come with us...and we could continue the conversation outside. And we did.

ON a side note-since I have not posted in awhile...I have quite a few pictures to post...so I am working on that this coming week (s)! Loves and blessings to you all!

daddy thinks P has engineering in her...moma thinks P is an artist already! She will do greatness no matter what...agreed... by both.

Updates Galore!

(Note to Facebook friends: some of this will be repeat information!)

Pekay had her 3 year appointment yesterday and here is a little (or long?) review (oh- review is in no particular order):
-The doctor was amazed by her height growth from last year! She was in the 65th percent at age two and shot up to 87th percent.
-Ever since we had to visit the dr. for her arm a few months ago, she has been talking about going to visit her doctor. She often would ask to go when she was hurt or thought she needed to go. So the nurse commented on P's fearless attitude, and P enjoyed telling both the nurse and doctor some of the most interesting and entertaining stories.
-P was asked to do the eye test. Now for those of you who don't know, the kids eyes test is the same as the one we do-except there are shapes. So when P was asked what the cross or plus shape( + ) was - she replied: Jesus. Perfect Vision!
-P showed her excitement of seeing santa on the movie the Polar Express by exclaiming very loudly "It's SAnta! It's SANTA"
-P's doctor and well the whole office is AWESOME...we are blessed!

Some More:
I also wanted to further my explanation of P's awesomeness by now bragging about her mermaid abilities! AS of yesterday, P floated on her back without daddy holding onto her. She has no fear when it comes to us letting her go, and she enjoys chillin under the water like her daddy (with her eyes open of course). She has gone down the BIG slide twice now, on her own...although I think we will not do that until she is a little bigger (weighs more) - the ride is very strong and she gets turned around. We are very proud of our little minnow! I have not taken any water pictures...so I will hopefully try to get some footage soon!

From a babes mouth:
When people ask p how she is doing we never know what she will tell them- example responses: "it's Christmas time", "the bunny bite my finger", she zips down her coat to show her sweater, "I earned all my animals back".

love to family and friends!
