conversations between and real and faux bunny

This little girl has been chatting more and more lately...and she has some most important things to say, share and fill our days with joy. I am so thankful God gave us her to love and enjoy! He makes no mistakes.
SO to mention a few :

Background: Moma wears contacts, and when taking them out- refers to them as eyeballs.
After waking from a nap:
"goodmornin. My eyeballs itchy.*rubbing her eyes* they come out."

Background: Moma driving. Pekay announces: "my hands happy to see me...them give me a hug." She then gives herself a BIG hug!

Background: While talking to Sianna Pancakes, our bunny...oh did I mention she is wearing her bunny ears?
" I'm like you bunny. i got ears too."

So this morning daddy and Pekay had a very informative conversation about cougars.

The story goes:
(Background or visualization: daddy was wearing his WSU logo hat.)
Pekay: daddy what's that on your hat?
Daddy: it's a cougar.
Pekay: what does a cougar say?
Daddy: daddy makes a (very good and very similar) cougar sound.
Pekay: no it says....GO COUGS!

WE are not really football fans...but we are cougars!

And for further proof Pekay is a true cougar. While at a kids function, a few months ago, we saw the EWU mascot (which I believe is an eagle but that is beside the point- carry on). When exchanging hellos...Pekay tells the Eagle : GO COUGS!

Oh dear. we are blessed.

thursday afternoons

Most Thursdays are the Dilu Family Girls Night. Because daddy is playing softball.
-We giggle.
-Pamper our "pretty toes"- foot bath, scrubs and all. Cover our beauties with blush and top the piggies off with frosting in flowers or hearts!
-Watch "moonies" and eat yummy nitrate free pizza...thanks mr.P newman!
-Giggle some more.
-share some secrets. (note to self and readers-Pekay is not good at keeping secrets....she is however good at telling them. Be sure to get yourself a Pekay secret the next time you see her!)
-and end the evening feeling very blessed.

****update**** We girlz took one for the team tonight. We enjoyed watching daddy play ball...home runs and all! Our "pretty toes" will have to wait for tomorrow night:)

the things she thinks and says

After wanting to see a picture of daddy (from high school, in camouflage) Pekay states:
Pekay:That's my daddy ....fishing.
Moma: Daddy's fishing in that picture.
Pekay: yes. he's at work.
Moma: daddy fishes at work?
Pekay: uh huh
Moma: that's what he brings home?
Pekay: yes, daddy brings home the bacon.
