The definition of a basket

"....The first baskets were woven by gatherers to collect fruits, grains, nuts, and other edible plant materials, as well as for holding fish by early fishing humans..... "

"....Although baskets were traditionally created to serve a utilitarian rather than an aesthetic purpose, the practice of basket making has evolved into an art...."

"...In modern usage, baskets are chosen chiefly for decorative purposes.

Gift baskets are used to present items such as fruit, wine, and flowers....

Hot air balloons are equipped with baskets for carrying the operator and passengers.

As a demonstration of contortionism, a basket containing a human may be repeatedly pierced with swords. The human survives through skill in avoiding the swords."
Definition from Wikipedia

A basket in our house usually holds: Laundry, books and the Peanut!

P.S. Although she may be pretty flexible, as pictured above, P does not practice contortionism!

highlights of J's annual work baseball game

Pekay and Dada waiting for the game to start.

Peanut's first pony ride

P does not really like horses that much, they are kinda big!

She did not even want to pet the small pony.

However she was okay with riding!

That is not mustard on her cheek...it was the start of a flower. The artist only started the center before P had enough!

note from the mama: When I first made this tutu for P (a few months ago) she really did not like it that much...it was kinda scratchy! She saw it in her closet the other day and to my surprise wanted to try it on...and it was all girlie girl from that moment on- she swayed the tutu ever so ballerina like!
